Magnesium (Mg) comes in a variety of forms. You will hear about (Mg) amino acid chelate, (Mg) carbonate, magnesium oxide, (Mg) oxide dolomite and magnesium sulfate. 70 % of (Mg) that is found in a person body comes from their bones and teeth. (Mg) is needed to allow healthy development of bones and teeth. Without (Mg) the body cannot transmit nerve impulses as needed. Magnesium is also essential for the contraction of our muscles.(Mg) is essential and yet so many people have brutal (Mg) deficiency. This deficiency is commonly found in people who have over stimulated nervous systems. Signs of (Mg) deficiency are restlessness, confusion and palpitations. Irritability, tremors, disorientation and chronic depression are just a few more side effects of (Mg) deficiency. High blood pressure, leg cramps and migraines can be reduced or eliminated with (Mg). I can continue with a list of terrible effects from this deficiency, but I would rather get back to some solutions.

Instead of the Standard American Diet that consists of 80% acid and 20% alkaline food, eat a diet of 20% acid and 80% alkaline. Vegetables and fruits are basically alkaline while meats, dairy, and processed foods are acid.But for many folks it is hard to add in 5 servings of vegetables a day as recommended by the government. An easy remedy to that is to drink wheatgrass powder. Wheatgrass is more alkaline than any plant known to man.

Our immune system is an amazing and complex system, it fends off foreign bacteria and viruses which cause infections or illnesses. So people have started buying water to get a good taste. Two things that have to be avoided in flavors are sugar and color. The six most popular flavors are Banana, Kiwi, Red Raspberry, Cherry, Fuzzy Peach and Strawberry. Most of the flavor brands are quite tempting, but contain sugar. Some brands contain caffeine and carbonation. Choose flavored water that is calorie free. Choose a caffeine free brand. Brands that promise increased energy can be loaded with caffeine. For years, caffeine has been labeled as a diuretic meaning it can lead to dehydration. Water loaded with caffeine will only make you thirstier. If you are selecting a flavored water make sure it is non-carbonated. Choose brands that have added vitamins. If you are going to drink water, it might as well have added benefits. You may find water that has B vitamins or vitamin C. Choose a brand that offers the benefits you are looking for.

People need to drink a lot of water to avoid dehydration. There are many times when we do not feel like drinking water. Water is tasteless. But still to quench our thirst, we need to drink water. Some people try out other kinds of liquids. Some of them are colas, diet drinks and other thirst quenchers. All these are not good our body as it contains empty calories. Flavored water is tastier than ordinary water and is not harmful to our health. There are many companies that sell flavored bottled drinks. Some of them are Hint, Metro Mint, Waters and Flavor Splash.

Wheatgrass is a complete life sustaining food (some call it a Super Food) that contains vitamins, minerals, enzymes, and chlorophyll. All these nutrients help balance your body pH. Maintaining a balanced pH level in the body is paramount for good health. Professor Otto Warburg won the Nobel Prize in 1931 for discovering that cancer cells will not grow in a balanced pH environment.
